  1. Test Says:

I am grateful for Gravity because it keeps me grounded!

  2. Alexander Valeur Says:

To me, the only thing that has any value in life, is how I spend my time! That’s why I am truly grateful for having such amazing friends around - constantly proving to me how every hour, minute and second of life is a gift in itself. Thanks

  3. Bridg Says:

Hey. Well I am grateful for a multitude of things, persons. What stands out for me over the years, is my partner Jerry. He is like a multivitamine in my life. In my experience of him, he stems from all that is good at the base of things, of what is important in life - like now, like you, like me, like whatever is, at the time. He is grand. He’s tought me by example what true charity is, he gives blood, time, presence & sincerity. he knows where silence belongs. As he does his presence. Through my observation over a decade, most people that are around him, over time, begin feeling really good inside, as in his subtlness of being, he exudes simplicity, nurture and contentment. Which can’t help but to rub off on others hovering in his environment. Like a multivitamine, its good for us, in an organic way. And once swallowed (the multivitamine) even if you don’t see it anymore, its still working on you, for the better. I am grateful for a multitude of things, persons. What stands out for me over the years, is my partner Jerry. Not only for what he is for me, but for who he is in the world. That state of a person. I am grateful for his life.

  4. Derya Yildirim Says:

There’s a lot of things in life that i’m grateful about. There’s so many important persons around me that means so much to me, and not to mention the life in itself. Im grateful about everything that God have given me, but there is one person that gets above them all. My father. I love him though i’ve never told him. Our relationship is very difficult to understand. I don’t know if anyone knows the feeling about how hard it is to say I LOVE YOU in words. That’s how our relationship is. It’s sad, I know, especially know that he has got cancer. I want to be near him and hug him and say please don’t leave me, before it’s too late. And that is what I’m going to do now, even though it’s not said directly to your face, i hope that maybe one day you’ll have the chance to read this. Daddy, I love you, and I am grateful for still having you by my side. You mean the the world to me, and please don’t forget that.
    Love
    your Daughter…

  5. vicky Says:

I am grateful to each and every member of my family for what they have brought to my life, love, joy, undertanding and acceptance. To my children for showing me the world through their eyes. To my grandchildren for everlasting love and hope and to my husband for sharing it all with me through thick and thin.

  6. Jessica Tompkins Says:

I am grateful for my ability to speak my mind. I haven’t always been able to do so but a along time ago a teacher of mine sat with me and had a talk. That talk changed me forever, in a good way. Since then I stand my own ground and speak my feelings. This has given me many wonderful things in life that I pray for everyday. My ability to speak made me my own person, someone who I am proud to be and that is what I am forever grateful for.

  7. Stephen Colon Says:

I’m incredibly grateful for my older sister, Hannah, who has worked tirelessly to make sure that things go smoothly around the house while my mom is in the hospital. On the 18th (less than ten days from now!) she leaves for Africa to work at a drug rehab/men’s home and go to school in Johannesburg, but she carries on with absolutely no concern for anything but the comfort and recovery of my mom and the upkeep of our family’s hectic lives. When she should be fundraising for her living expenses and packing up her belongings, she’s spending nights at the hospital and days running errands and taxiing kids. I have so much respect for her and am grateful beyond my wildest dreams. She shows a care for her family above herself that is unmatched by anyone else I know. Thanks Hannah!

Thanks for the opportunity to share Justin! It’s always such a pleasure to see you at CADA/CASL events!

  8. Tykee Sanders Says:

I am grateful to be alive with a functioning brain that I use to better myself in life. I’m grateful to have a wonderful mother and father that adopted me when I was 5 weeks old, but I’m sad to say that he died December 25, 2001, and the memory is still fresh in my head. I’m grateful to have a wonderful girlfriend, Amber Briana LaShay Anderson, to help me get through problems that has worsened me at times. I’m grateful to not end up in a foster home of somesort. Those are all the things that I’m grateful for.

  9. Kevin Bachar Says:

I am grateful and owe my whole life to those who keep me grounded when gravity cannot and those who allow my dreams to become a tangible reality.
To my friends, my mentors, and those who have paved the asphalt beneath me to ride my car on the road to success I THANK YOU WITH ALL MY HEART. Most importantly- TO MY MOM, DAD, AND LIL’ BROTHER you are my world and I am proud to say my successes, my accomplishments are made possible because of your unconditional love and I owe all that I am to you three.

  10. David Riveron Says:

    I am Thankful
    For my family,
    For my friends,
    And for my home.

    Each being extremely
    Simple and predictable
    But nonetheless
    Powerful and true.

    I am Thankful
    For my health,
    For my youth,
    And for my life.

    All again simple in extremity
    But whole in gratefulness
    And undeniable in honesty.

    I am so thankful
    For being so undeservedly spoiled.

  11. Megan Dawkins Says:

I am grateful for my mother. We fight, we cry together, and we love each other. I’m grateful that my mother will talk to me about anything that’s on my mind. I’m grateful that she’s always teaching me through ways I would never think of. And I’m grateful to have a mother so cheerful that she’s like a celebrity in our community. My mom is loved by everyone who knows her and for a good reason. She is a true inspiration to all and I’m incredibly lucky to be her daughter.

  12. audrey zazuetta Says:

Its funny how you can look back on your life and realize what your grateful for. I am so thankful for my younger sister gabby. There are times where we may fight and yell but She is always there for me whenever i need her. Which means alot to me because there are some days i just need some love and She supports me in my many different projects. She is my number one fan and says she wants to be “just like me” which i dont understand. Since at times i do some stupid things she sees so much potential in me and i am not only thankful for her. i love her dearly

hey justin thanks so much for putting our gratitude for our activities directors in the CADA newsletter my advisors face when i showed her was priceless :) CASL LOVE!

  13. Jan Szmanda Says:

I am grateful for all the opportunities anyone has given to any person or creature. It is superb to be grateful for all the events that have been given to your person, no doubt. To also be grateful for what experiences have happened to someone else is also something special to look at. Personally, I am grateful I have a healthy family and near unlimited options for the future. Also, I am grateful my cousin is now in a stable relationship. She’s gone through so much in her life to support her family. She deserves all optimism she receives.

  14. Robin Easton Says:

I am grateful for the singular experience of being alive. That alone is not something I take for granted. No one wrote in “The Great Book of Life” that Robin Easton had a “right” to be here in this time, on this planet. In light of that, how astounding that I AM here. In truth I have no idea why or how. Nontheless, if that isn’t a gift to be grateful for I don’t know what is.

I must not only be aware of this gift and grateful for it, but I must also not waste it. There are many in the world who’s time here on Earth is living hell. They are being tortured or held prisoner simply for their beliefs. They are living in abject poverty, without food, water, shelter, clothes, opportunity or even a shadow of hope. Then here am I with all those things and more. I am not only alive, but I am here with infinite hope and opportunity. Because my needs are met there is much room in my heart to be grateful about being alive. Not all people have this luxury. We must take NOTHING for granted. In our gratitude let us help those we can. They are us.

Thank you for the opportunity to express this here.
    I am grateful.
    Robin

  15. Tykee Sanders Says:

I’m grateful to be around people that can help motivate me to mole into a very successful person when I grow up. I’m grateful that my mother takes care of me, rather than abusing like some mothers in the world. I’m grateful that I’m in Bridges and that I got the MLK Award and was accepted into the National Honors Society this year at my school.
