Dream Catchers Needed!
“When there’s no more YOU and Me, no more They and We, just Unity! - Trevor Hall
In working in MT on Indian Reservations last week, I was reminded of the words from the book “Fallin Up” by Taboo (member of the BEP’s). He dedicated the book to his grand mother who bought him is first dream catcher. He shares: “the dream catcher caught my dreams before the world could crush them.” I believe that all students should be allowed to dream, but their life experience and their everyday reality tells them otherwise. It tells them that dreams are for others… In short, we have lots of work to do!
